Alpine Season 2026: What's New
With the snowline retreating from the Nebelhorn ridge, we're opening the 2026 season with a few changes worth knowing about before you book.
A second launch site near Fellhorn
After two seasons of scouting, we've added a secondary launch site closer to Fellhorn for days when ridge wind direction rules out Nebelhorn. This should mean fewer weather-related reschedules over the season.
Earlier morning slots for tandem jumps
Based on feedback (and thermal activity that tends to pick up by early afternoon), we've added a 7:30am tandem slot on weekends from June through August. Mornings tend to be calmer and cooler, which most first-time jumpers prefer.
Course dates for the year
P2 paragliding courses run every second weekend from May to September this year, capped at four students per instructor as always. Early bookings for June and July are already filling up faster than previous seasons.
Gear shop restock
New stock of the Summit EN-B wing and the AirComfort reversible harness has arrived, along with a smaller batch of AltiTrack altimeters. Given how quickly last season's stock moved, we'd recommend not waiting until peak season to order.
